Site Rules

Our site rules are probably fairly straight-forward, detailed below.

First, we make a note on tolerance. There will be many different people from many different walks of life here. While you do not need to agree with someone else's differences, you should be respectful of them, and accept that you have no say over someone else's life. Behavioural issues will be dealt with on a case by case basis, as they come up, should they come up, with respect to circumstance and situation.

Content Rating

World of Hearts is, by default, relatively tame, but some of our content may go into adult territory. We ask that users please properly tag all adult-oriented content using the tagging system. Simply add a tag to a thread, using the + link below the Tags: header at the bottom of posts, type "mature," no quotes, and click "Add Tag." This tag may be added at any point along a thread's lifespan, and is mandatory for mature threads.

Activity and Word Count

There are no activity checks, or stringent requirements. Staff may go through accounts every few months, and check on accounts that have registered and never posted or created characters. Players are welcome to delete any of their character subaccounts at any time. To delete an OOC account, please contact a member of staff.

We also do not have a required word count. Write as much, or as little, as you need.

Graphics and Profiles

Avatars are 250x400 in size, and there is an optional, 100x100 icon available in profiles. Signatures are not used here. Face claims are not required, and may be abstained from, if users would prefer, however, we are mixed PB, and accept both RL claims, animanga style claims, and artwork. Do not steal artwork, and, if using a RL face claim, please use only celebrities (those whom knowingly and willingly put themselves in the public eye).

Character biographies/profiles may be used, located in the character account forum profile. No field in the profile is required, so users are free to write what they want, and not write what they don't, in it.
